WILOFA has developed a special feature for processing fired ceramics with the "Zirkon-tested laboratory disc". The disc edge is wear-resistant diamond-tipped, equipped with a durable bonding layer. Black discoloration with "brake marks" are a thing of the past. The disc can withstand even hard-sintered zirconia ceramics. Do the crash test like other ceramic specialists.
WILOFA® Diamond Discs Pass the "Zirkon-Test"
Forming layered fired ceramics like VITA VM9 on oxide ceramic frameworks or on VMK crowns and bridges is one of the tasks of fine-grained, flexible diamond discs. But beware: Weakly diamond-coated disc edges wear out quickly, causing localized overheating with blackening on the raw fired workpiece and causing microcracks in the ceramic structure.
The result is later veneer fractures. Experienced dental technicians make no compromises here, because the surface quality of the fired ceramic is crucial for clinical durability.

WILOFA® Flexicut diamond discs are the result of ambitious development work and practical testing. Stainless steel has been given high flexibility and resilience through a special tempering process. In the edge area, the blade has been made particularly cutting-friendly and stable through a special diamond coating.
